Summer Night Out Look

My favorite part of going out is getting ready to go out. I swear that's half the fun! I put together a look for a summer night with shimmery gold eyes, peach flushed cheeks and a fun bold coral lip. I've walked through everything step by step below if anyone wants to recreate it.

Face
I started out with applying the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer. A primer is really helpful when going out so that your foundation with last longer (through walking, dancing or whatever else you get yourself into!). Second, I applied NARS Sheer Glow Foundation using clean fingertips. I find this foundation gives excellent medium to full coverage, but has a very thin, light consistency so it doesn't look or feel heavy. It has a beautiful satin finish to keep you looking glowing and gorgeous. If you need any concealer, now is the time to apply whichever one works best for you. And lastly, I dusted on a small amount of the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder in Translucent. I think this is essential for oily/combination skin, but also helpful to powder at least the T-zone for anyone when you're going to be out. It'll make your skin appear velvety in photographs!

Eyes
I then moved onto the eyes and applied the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold with my ring finger across my bottom lid up to the crease of the eye. I also took a small amount and ran it underneath the eye 3/4 of the way in (leaving the inner corner blank). Next, I took L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Gold Imperial and used my ring finger again to pat this on the center of my bottom lid (not going as high as you took the Bold Gold) and then pulled the color into my tear duct and under my eye where I had previously left blank. It will give a really pretty highlighted effect. Next comes eye liner. I think a dark brown keeps it a bit more summery (less harsh) so I used M.A.C Eye Kohl in Teddy (any dark brown liner would work) and created a soft winged liner on my upper lash line. Then applied lots and lots of mascara! I used my favorite, the Covergirl Lash Blast Volume in Black, but use whichever one is your favorite to give you dramatic lashes. Lastly, I filled in my brows with the Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil. I always think this step really helps you look finished and pulled together.

Cheeks
Using your fingers (or I like to use the Real Techniques Buffing Brush) to apply a small amount of YSL Creme De Blush in shade 1 (Velvety Peach). This shade will help you look glowy and sun kissed (who doesn't want that?!)

Lips
Last, but never the least are lips. I wanted to go for a bold coral color so I pulled out my Buxom Lip Gloss in Tonya. It really makes your lips looks glossy and full.

And voila! You look magnifique! (when did I turn French?!) I wore this look the other day and was obsessed! I'm glad I got to share it here.
